Conclusion...

Based on my research, I have come to the conclusion that most or all of the known crop circles are the work of humans. I don't see how there could be winds strong enough, aliens intelligent or realistic enough, or downdrafts with enough power to create these amazing crop circles. A lot of this has to do with personal opinion, and it is really up to everyone to decide what their opinion is about the crop circles. In conclusion, my hypothesis was arguably correct.
More Information!
You may be wondering just how many of these strange designs appear worldwide every year. On average, about 250 appear annually. Although there have been reports of crop circles all over the world, about 90% of all crop circles are found in southern England. There have been reports of off-season crop circles, but summer is the most popular season.History of crop circles!
The theory of crop circles has been around for thousands of years, but the crop circles gained their popularity around and throughout the 1900s. Circles such as the ones shown to the right were the origin of the trend. The circle in the left of the picture was about thirty feet in length. Now these amazing displays of art can reach lengths of three miles and cover nearly 200,000 square feet. It was in 1980 that the phenomena of "Crop Circles" really caught everyone's attention. Suddenly there were two circles in a field, lying symmetrically side by side. The following year, a 52-foot circle was found sandwiched between two other circles exactly half its size. The three circles were aligned perfectly. The unprecedented event shocked many. Some theories...
Crop circles tend to appear overnight, which tends to leave people wondering... Who or what actually makes these mysterious works of art? Here are a few theories...
Humans- Many people think that humans looking for a good laugh and some bragging rights have done all of the crop circles. In fact, numerous crop circle creators have admitted to their work. Two of the most famous crop circle makers, Doug Bower and Dave Chorley, say to have made their crop circles with simply planks of wood and rope.

Aliens and UFOs- Due to the crop circles' intricate designs and sometimes symbolic patterns, aliens and UFOs are another common belief. Some think that crop circles are made by alien spaceships hovering over the fields or aliens trying to send a message of some sort.

Winds- Some believe in the "Plasma Vortex Theory", which states that small currents of charged vortices (or gusts of charged wind) flatten the crops. The charged air then makes the dust particles appear to glow, which would explain the bright light that witnesses claim to see before a crop circle appears.

Other- Additional theories about the crop circles include helicopters and airplanes causing downdrafts which then make the crops bend, thus creating the crop circles. Another assumption is that the Earth's electromagnetic radiation forms the crop circles.

To me, humans seem like the most logical cause of the crop circles. On the other hand, the United Kingdom has the most crop circles in the world, and studies show that almost 80% are man-made. If this is true, then what is the cause of the other 20%? There are still a number of unexplained appearances that nobody has ever claimed to be responsible for.
